Your ECG recordings — with your doctor.
CardiSong is for patients whose doctor works with the platform. Your doctor registers you and shows you the device, you record an ECG at home and send it, and your doctor reads it and gives you their opinion.

Who can use CardiSong
To begin, you need to register with a doctor who works with CardiSong. Your doctor judges whether recording at home makes sense for you and decides when and how often you record — on a schedule or when symptoms appear.
If you do not have such a doctor or a device yet, contact our team and we will point you to the next steps. The device is available from your doctor, from the healthcare facility CardiSong works with, or through our team.
A relative can help you set things up — once, at the start.
How you start
Your doctor creates your profile
They enter your details and link a CardiSong device to your phone number, and you receive login details. You can also register yourself with a phone number and a password.
You give informed consent
You consent to using the medical service remotely and accept the Terms. The documents are available in your profile.
Your doctor shows you the device
They show you how it works and, if you will record from the chest, mark the spot where to place it.
There is no subscription fee for using the system. You pay your doctor for reading the ECG.
What you do at each recording
Somewhere quiet, you place your fingers on the device’s electrodes or hold it against your chest. It records the ECG for about 20 seconds and plays it as sound into your phone. You send the recording by one of three routes.
Automated phone line
A call to 02 4929 309 from the number registered in your profile. No internet needed.
Mobile app
Sends the recording encrypted. If there is no connection at the time, it keeps it and sends it later.
Web platform
Recording through the browser. Not every browser allows microphone access, so the line and the app are the more reliable choice.
What your doctor sees and what you get back
The platform converts the sound into an ECG. The recording appears in your doctor’s account alongside your earlier recordings, ordered by time. Your doctor reads it and sends you their opinion through the platform — notes, conclusions and recommendations.
In your profile you see all your recordings and the status of each — from “processing” to “reviewed by your doctor”. You are notified when a result is ready — by email, SMS or in the app; how long that takes depends on your doctor’s availability.
When your doctor judges that the condition needs urgent attention, you also receive an urgent SMS notification. That judgement is theirs — the platform does not decide which condition is urgent. You can write to your doctor through the built-in chat.
Your data
Only your doctor and you have access to your recordings. Through the app, the audio file is sent encrypted.
In your profile you can see which consents are active and their history, and you can withdraw a consent at any time.
What CardiSong does not do
CardiSong records heart activity only while a recording you started is running. It does not provide continuous monitoring and does not replace a prescribed Holter study or a standard 12-lead ECG. The device and the platform do not diagnose — reading the recording and giving an opinion are your doctor’s work.
CardiSong is not an emergency service. If you suspect a life-threatening condition, call 112 without waiting for the recording to be read.
